KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 – PKR’s election steering committee (JPP) will probe allegations made by its vice-president Rafizi Ramli on the existence of money politics in the party polls.
This was confirmed by outgoing PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail in a press conference at the Parliament here today.
“JPP will conduct the investigation,” she said, adding she was only notified about it today when members of the press asked her about the allegation.
“I just knew about it today,” she said.
Rafizi had earlier claimed that money politics were being practiced during the party’s election season.
Rafizi, who is also vying for the number two post in the party, said the party’s members should reject candidates who embraced such culture and urged them to learn from Umno which fell due allegations of money politics. © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
